Peach Bellini Recipe: The easiest recipe for making a Peach Bellini is 3-parts Prosecco (or champagne) and 1-part Peach Schnapps. Serve in Champagne Flute and serve cold. I recently had one of these at a brunch, and thought I was going to hate them. Wrong…They are really good and go down smooth!
The Bellini is a classic wine cocktail that enjoys an impressive following. Originating in Venice, this cocktail is based on the bubbles of the region’s most famous sparkling wine, prosecco. Light, refreshing and simple to set up, this is by far Italy’s most popular wine cocktail. It’s perfect for brunch on warm spring and summer days or whenever you need some advanced refreshment.
Here’s the complete recipe:
It’s simple enough to prepare that you can easily make your own peach puree if you like without adding much to your prep time. Simply puree fresh or frozen peaches (skins removed) in your blender until smooth. Any peach can be used.
3 oz. Prosecco Sparkling Wine
1 oz. Peach Schnapps
Steps to Make It
- Pour the peach puree or peach schnapps into a champagne flute and slowly add the prosecco, being careful to not overfill the flute (the bubbles can quickly sneak up on you!).
- Serve and enjoy immediately.
A FEW TIPS FOR THIS DRINK. This drink is better served iced cold. Make sure you cool your products (ice dilutes) before you make this super summer drink. You don’t have to stop drinking these when Summer ends! These are great for all occasions and holidays. Make the Peach Bellini your go to signature drink.
